Harry’s CEO, Natalie McNamara, featured in The Richmonder on Virginia’s Happy Hour Law
Earlier this week, The Richmonder featured Natalie McNamara, CEO and Managing Partner of Harry’s at Hofheimer, in a story exploring Virginia’s decades-old 9 p.m. happy hour law — and the growing effort to modernize it.
The article highlights how Richmond’s hospitality community, led in part by the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association (VRLTA), is advocating for the option to extend happy hours as late as midnight. McNamara, who also serves on the VRLTA Board of Directors, joined other local leaders in supporting the change, noting that today’s dining habits look very different than they did when the rule was written.
“This is the modern era,” McNamara told The Richmonder. “Things have changed.”
Harry’s stands proudly alongside many of Richmond’s restaurants and hotels in supporting policies that reflect how our community actually gathers, celebrates, and connects today.
