Southern Hippie Society blends Southern Rock, Country, and Blues to create a unique musical experience that appeals to fans of many genres. Fusion of four musicians, each with their own distinct style, coming together to form one powerful sound. Their performances resonate with audiences of all ages and musical tastes, uniting fans from diverse backgrounds. Formed in 2019, the band is made up of David Bryan (vocals/guitar), Matt Roberts (bass guitar), Matt Dix (drums/vocals), and Erik Meyers (keyboard/vocals), all hailing from Powhatan, VA. With a combined 60+ years of live music experience, the band quickly realized their chemistry and unique sound while crossing paths in the local music scene. Southern Hippie Society has since played an important role in fostering a live music community in their hometown, sharing their passion for music across Virginia.
