RICHMOND, Va. — September 2026 — Harry’s at Hofheimer is turning three this October and celebrating with fresh food, specialty cocktails, giveaways, surprises, and plenty of reasons to gather at the Historic Hofheimer Building in Scott’s Addition.
Since opening in October 2023, Harry’s has grown into a place where Richmond comes to eat, drink, gather, and celebrate — whether it’s dinner for two, cocktails with friends, a birthday party in the Library, a night of live music, or a celebration that fills an entire floor.
As Harry’s celebrates its 3rd Birthday Party, the restaurant and venue is doubling down on its signature strengths: amazing food and unforgettable celebrations.
“Celebration has always been at the heart of Harry’s,” said Natalie McNamara, CEO of Harry’s at Hofheimer. “As we celebrate our third birthday, we’re really focused on what motivated me to open Harry’s from the beginning — amazing food and an incredible place to celebrate and make memories to last a lifetime. That could mean date night, a birthday with 10 friends or a celebration with 250 people. We have this incredibly unique historic building that allows us to create so many different experiences.”
Three Years. Three Floors. Three Weeks of Surprises.
Beginning in October, Harry’s will unwrap three weeks of surprises as part of its 3rd Birthday Party.
The celebration will include the introduction of Harry’s new executive chef; fresh dinner, brunch, happy hour, and cocktail menus; the launch of Friends of Harry’s, a new VIP program; giveaways; and a few more surprises along the way.
With three years, three floors, and three weeks of festivities, it’s clearer than ever that good things come in threes.
Meet Executive Chef Kevin Tate
At the center of Harry’s culinary program is new Executive Chef Kevin Tate, who joins Harry’s with a focus on creating food that is approachable, creative, and memorable: the kind of food that can turn an ordinary dinner into an occasion and give guests another reason to come back.
His arrival marks a major refresh of the Harry’s culinary program, with new menus designed around the many different ways guests experience the restaurant.
“I want people to come to Harry’s because they know they’re going to have a great meal,” said Chef Kevin. “Whether you’re here for dinner, brunch, happy hour, or celebrating with a private event, the food should be a reason you choose Harry’s — not just something that comes along with the experience.”
As part of Harry’s 3rd Birthday Party, Chef Kevin will introduce refreshed menus throughout Harry’s, including new dinner, brunch, and happy hour menus, alongside a new cocktail menu.
Guests can expect new dishes, new cocktails, and plenty of reasons to gather around the table. Whether joining Harry’s for a Tuesday dinner, celebrating a birthday over brunch, meeting friends for happy hour, or starting a Saturday night with dinner and cocktails, the goal is for the food to be every bit as memorable as the occasion.
Richmond, Come Celebrate With Us
Celebrations have always been a big part of the Hofheimer. And when Harry’s says “celebration,” it means all of them: a date night for two, a table full of friends, birthdays, engagements, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, weddings, holiday parties, corporate events and milestones that deserve something a little more memorable than the usual.
With multiple distinct spaces throughout the historic Hofheimer Building, Harry’s can host celebrations for up to 250 guests, from dinner in Harry’s Restaurant and cocktails in the Library to private events in the Loft and celebrations overlooking Scott’s Addition from the Rooftop.
Introducing Friends of Harry’s VIP Program
Harry’s is also celebrating its 3rd Birthday Party with the introduction of Friends of Harry’s, a new VIP program designed for regulars, neighbors, and some of Harry’s biggest supporters.
Members can expect exclusive offers, complimentary tickets, giveaways, special experiences, opportunities to participate in Harry’s photoshoots and promotions, and other surprises throughout the year.
The program is another way for Harry’s to give something back to the guests who continue to eat, drink, gather, and celebrate at the Hofheimer.
